We started Apex because we couldn't find outdoor gear that was both rugged enough for real trips and simple enough to actually enjoy using.

Our Story

Apex Camping was founded in Vancouver, British Columbia, by twin brothers Gabriel and Xavier Tran, born out of a lifetime spent exploring the rugged trails and coastal campsites of the Pacific Northwest. Growing up surrounded by the wilderness of BC, we quickly learned that the success of any outdoor adventure hinges entirely on the reliability of your gear. However, we consistently noticed a frustrating gap in the market: outdoor enthusiasts were forced to choose between unreliable equipment and needlessly expensive brands. Driven by our own experiences modifying and refining our personal outdoor gear, we launched Apex Camping right here in Vancouver to bridge that gap, delivering high-performance camping essentials and accessories to fellow adventurers.
